Last day for GERBIL at FIMA 2026

GERBIL Wraps Up FIMA 2026 Reinforcing Its Commitment to Smart Irrigation
GERBIL's Participation in FIMA 2026

GERBIL’s participation at FIMA 2026 marked another important step in the growth of our smart irrigation technology. Two years after launching our first soil moisture probe at FIMA 2024, we returned to Zaragoza with a more complete product range, thousands of probes already operating in the field, and the same mission that has guided us from the beginning: helping growers make better irrigation decisions based on reliable data.

The main highlight of this year’s edition was the launch of the new GERBIL HTC, an enhanced version of our probe that measures apparent electrical conductivity (dS/m) in addition to soil moisture and temperature. This new model is specifically designed for fields where salinity and soil variability play a key role in irrigation and fertigation management.

The GERBIL family now offers two solutions tailored to different needs:

  • GERBIL, for measuring soil moisture and temperature, ideal for most agricultural applications.

  • GERBIL HTC, which adds apparent electrical conductivity measurement for more advanced soil monitoring.

Both models share the same goal: enabling more efficient, sustainable, and data-driven irrigation, helping growers optimize water use and make better decisions in the field.

Technology Developed in Navarra, Spain

In a market largely dominated by international manufacturers, GERBIL is designed and manufactured entirely in Navarra, Spain, offering easy installation, fast deployment, and proven reliability. Today, thousands of GERBIL probes are operating in agricultural fields, providing accurate information to help growers know exactly when and how much to irrigate.
